The new DIAQUICK Swine Flu rapid test is now available.
This new DIAQUICK rapid test is able to separately detect Influenza type A, B and the pandemic H1N1 swine flu on one test strip.
The 2009 flu pandemic, or swine flu, is a global outbreak of a new strain of Influenza A virus subtype H1N1, a type of swine Influenza, that was first detected in people in the United States in April 2009. This virus continued to spread globally.
The DIAQUICK Influenza Ag A/ B/ H1N1 Dipstick is a chromatographic immunoassay for the differential and qualitative detection of Influenza virus type A, type B and A(H1N1) antigens directly from nasal / throat / nasopharyngeal swab or nasal/nasopharyngeal aspirate specimens. This assay is intended for professional use and for in vitro diagnostic use only.
